While we’ve always been able to explain what we do, we’ve found that showing people goes a hundred times better. There’s just something powerful about being able to search, play, explore.

For developers, this is easy. We point them to or or walk them through our Quickstart Guides which walks someone through loading their media, searching it, and using the results. Our non-technical people had more of a challenge.

So this week, we’ve launched our Try It Now page:

We’ve seeded it with some sample audio and video – including the Reverend Martin Luther King’s “I have a Dream” speech – for you to search, explore, and find interesting bits. Or alternatively, you can upload your own media files to see what you have.

Now – like any processing with Clarify – things don’t happen immediately. Our systems have to download the data, perform the analysis, aggregate the results, and return them to you. Luckily, you don’t have to keep the page open. Just fill in your email address and we’ll notify you when the results are ready.
